Service Description

Join Kelly every Tuesday evening for Kundalini Yoga & Meditation! Using the tools of breath, mantra, movement, and meditation, we'll cultivate more energy, focus, and ease in the body and mind. This class is suitable for all levels, including beginners. Register here: Kundalini Yoga is known as the yoga of awareness. This practice has the ability to enliven the essence of who we are—and thus strengthen connection and understanding of ourselves, other people, and the world around us. Classes often focus on the breath, spine mobility and strengthening the nervous system. In doing so, stagnant energy is moved in the body, new thought patterns are formed, and we are able to show up in the world happier, healthier, and more radiant! Class Overview: * An introduction to Kundalini Yoga (10 minutes) * Basic Sitting Meditation and Tuning-in (10 minutes) * Kriya, aka Physical Practice (45 minutes) * Deep Relaxation (15 minutes) * Meditation (10 minutes) * After Class - sharing, chatting, and enjoying homemade yogi tea together Things to bring and best practices: * All necessary props are available in the practice space but bring your own if you prefer. * Come to class with an empty stomach or if necessary, eat very lightly beforehand. * Please let Kelly know of any physical limitations before class, so she can provide you with great modifications. Register here: About the teacher: Kelly Mathews completed a 200-hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training located just outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2019. Over the last few years she has taught over 150 classes to both beginners and advanced practitioners. The practice has supported her in resolving chronic digestive issues, anxiety, and a fragile sense of self. She is infinitely grateful to have cultivated trust in her own inner guidance and her body's ability to heal..and what has opened up in her life.
