SOS Yoga

Soothe Our (nervous) Systems! A class designed to help our bodies naturally complete the stress response cycle so that we can finally relax and rest deeply.

Traditional yoga poses (e.g. downward facing dog, Warrior 2) are blended with dancing, bouncing, shaking, tapping and breath work to help the body release tension and stored stress-response chemicals. This is followed with self-massage, more breathing, gentle flowing movement and is capped by a guided meditation called Yoga Nidra, an ancient practice for deep, restorative rest.

Comfortable clothing is recommended. No previous yoga experience (or Lululemon) is necessary!
