Yoga is an ancient Sanskrit word that means “joining together.”  We see this in modern, western “flow” classes as movements are joined with the breath….”inhale to plank, exhale to downward facing dog.”  

 

Besides the physical practice, yoga offers us a vast ancient science for unifying all the parts of the self – mind, body, emotions, energy, spirit

 

Yoga includes:

  • A plan for optimizing strength, balance and flexibility in the body
